Fundamental Truths for Election Day
Truth: We were lied to about Iraq
Truth: We are not safer
Truth: Our nations respect around the world is severely damaged
Truth: Gas prices were back breaking for us and will be again soon, while oil companies and Republicans rake in the dough
Truth: Health Costs higher and higher
Truth: Tuition costs unbelievable
Truth: corruption corruption corruption
Truth: Katrina showed how inept this govt is to protect its citizens
Truth: Terrorism has gotten worse
Truth: Our constitutional liberties are being stolen
Truth: Middle class incomes are stagnant
Truth: Ford and GM layoff thousands
Truth: Over 2,800 soldiers are dead
Truth: The Republicans have had 6 years to fix these things, they have no desire to
Truth: Democrats have the desire to change things and will
Vote: Democrat!

truth:the democrats were complicit in many of these things.
And yes I voted democrat today :)
The Democrats had no power to subpoena, hold meaningful hearings or bring bills up to vote.
The Democrats did not have access to the intelligence and were fed only the false intelligence on the war.
Did some democrats vote for bills they should not have, yes and I have noted some on this blog.
Could they have fought harder with fillabusters or whatever at times, probably.
But hopefully that will now be a mute issue and the democrats will have to power to do many of these things.
I will be the first to hold a fire to them to make sure they do.
